Description
The Team Associated ASC26002 SR7 Center Gearbox, ESC Tray and Receiver Box Set supplies the molded housings that carry the center drivetrain and the electronics on the SR7 platform. The center gearbox holds the gears and their bearings in the correct relationship to one another, while the ESC tray and receiver box locate and protect the speed control and receiver on the chassis.
This set is made for the SR7 chassis, so each housing matches the mounting positions, shafts, and hardware already used on that platform and installs without modification. A cracked gearbox housing allows the gear mesh to shift under load, which causes rapid wear, and damaged electronics housings leave the receiver and speed control exposed to dirt and moisture.
Supplied as a direct replacement for the parts originally fitted to the SR7, these install in place of the originals using the existing screws and chassis mounting points. The set is a practical repair item after crash damage or a long period of running.
