Description
These Team Associated ASC25946 M5x85mm socket head cap screws are long fasteners used on the Rival MT8, driven with a hex driver through a recessed socket head. At 85mm they are the long through bolts a large monster truck needs for spanning major assemblies, where a shorter screw simply cannot reach across the parts being clamped together.
Hardware this long carries serious load and is easy to damage. Stripped hex sockets, bent shanks, and galled threads all happen after enough hard impacts and enough disassembly cycles, and a screw you cannot reliably torque is a screw that will let go at the worst moment.
These are a direct replacement for the M5x85mm SHCS hardware used on the Rival MT8, matching the original thread, length, and head style so they drop straight into the stock locations. Fitment is listed for the Rival MT8. Rebuilding with fresh screws rather than reusing damaged hardware is cheap insurance on a truck that hits this hard.
