Description
These Team Associated ASC25945 M5 flanged locknuts are the fastening hardware used on the Rival MT8, with a nylon insert that grips the thread and resists backing off under the constant vibration and impact a large monster truck generates. The integrated flange spreads clamping load across a wider area, so the nut seats securely without needing a separate washer and without digging into the part beneath it.
Locknuts are consumable hardware. The nylon insert loses its grip after repeated removal and installation, and a nut that no longer holds torque is how wheels, shocks, and suspension components work loose mid run.
These are a direct replacement for the M5 flanged locknuts used on the Rival MT8, matching the original thread size and flange profile so they install with standard tools and no modification. Fitment is listed for the Rival MT8. Keeping a fresh supply in the pit box means you can replace hardware on schedule instead of reusing nuts that have already given up their bite.
