Description
This set of threaded shock collars fits the shocks on the Team Associated Rival MT8 and SR7 Hoonicorn monster trucks, providing the adjustable collars that set spring preload on each shock body. Machined with a threaded bore that matches the shock body's external threads, the collars thread up and down the shock to raise or lower ride height and fine-tune how much the spring is compressed before the suspension begins to move. Constant vibration and repeated hard impacts can wear the threads or let a collar work loose over a bashing session, throwing off ride height and spring preload from corner to corner and making the truck feel unbalanced on landings. Installing fresh collars restores precise, even adjustment across all four shocks so the truck sits and handles consistently. This is a direct-replacement factory part sized to the stock Rival MT8 shock body thread pitch, not a performance upgrade, and it threads directly onto the existing shock bodies already on the truck without any other modification needed.
