Description
The Team Associated ASC25936 motor mount set holds the motor in position on the Rival MT8 and sets the gear mesh between the pinion and the spur gear. Mesh accuracy depends entirely on this mount, so a solid, undamaged mount is what keeps the drivetrain quiet, efficient, and free of premature gear wear.
Motor mounts see heat from the motor and shock loads from the drivetrain, and slotted adjustment holes can wear over time. A mount that shifts under power lets the mesh open or tighten on its own, which strips gears and robs the truck of drive.
This set is a direct replacement for the mount originally fitted to the Rival MT8, using the stock motor screws and chassis mounting locations so no modification is needed. Fitment is specific to the Rival MT8 platform. Fitting a fresh mount is also the right time to reset your gear mesh and check the pinion and spur for wear.
