Description
The Team Associated ASC25934 shock spring set supplies front and rear springs for the Rival MT8, the components that carry the weight of the truck and control how the suspension loads and rebounds over jumps and rough ground. The front springs measure 80.00mm free length with 11.5 total coils and a rate of 4.90 lb/in, while the rear springs measure 95.00mm free length with 14.5 total coils and a rate of 4.00 lb/in. Both use 1.8mm wire with a 20.5mm inner diameter and 24.1mm outer diameter.
Springs lose their rate over time as they take a set from repeated compression, and a sagging spring quietly changes ride height, weight transfer, and landing behavior long before you notice why the truck feels wrong.
This set is a direct replacement for the springs originally fitted to the Rival MT8 and installs on the stock shock bodies and spring cups with no modification. Fitment is specific to the Rival MT8 platform.
