Description
The Team Associated ASC25933 shock shaft set replaces the shafts inside the shocks on the Rival MT8, the polished rods that carry the piston through the shock body and pass the suspension load into the damper. Shaft condition matters more than most drivers expect, because a scratched or bent shaft ruins the seal it runs through and lets oil escape.
Once a shock starts leaking, damping fades within a few runs and the truck begins to bottom out, pack up over rough ground, and land badly. Fitting fresh shafts is the fix that actually solves it, rather than simply refilling the oil again.
These shafts are a direct replacement for the parts originally fitted to the Rival MT8 and work with the stock pistons, seals, and shock bodies with no modification. Fitment is specific to the Rival MT8 platform. Rebuilding all four shocks with new shafts at the same time keeps damping balanced corner to corner and returns consistent suspension performance.
