Description
This is a 25-tooth servo horn built for the steering servo on the Team Associated Rival MT8 and SR7 Hoonicorn monster trucks, providing the link between the servo output shaft and the steering linkage. Molded from a reinforced composite material, the horn is shaped to match the 25-tooth spline pattern common to many high-torque servos used in large-scale bashing trucks, letting the servo's rotation transfer directly into steering input at the linkage. Servo horns take repeated stress every time the truck steers hard or the front wheels strike an obstacle, and the splines or mounting arm can strip, crack, or snap under that load, leading to loose or unresponsive steering. Fitting a fresh horn restores a tight, slop-free connection between the servo and the steering linkage so throttle and steering inputs translate accurately at the wheels. This is a direct-replacement part sized to the stock Rival MT8 steering linkage geometry, not a performance upgrade, and it mounts using the servo's existing output shaft and mounting screw already on the truck.
