It bundles the small parts that break down first inside a shock, including piston o-rings, shaft seals, cap gaskets, and spacers, so the shock body itself can be cleaned, refilled with fresh oil, and returned to smooth, leak-free operation. Monster truck shocks see constant high-speed compression and rebound over jumps and rough surfaces, which gradually wears seals and lets oil seep past the shaft, softening damping and making the truck feel inconsistent on landings. Swapping in this rebuild set restores proper sealing and consistent damping feel without buying a complete replacement shock.
