Description
This is a front and rear gearbox set for the Team Associated Rival MT8 monster truck, supplying the gear housings that contain the transmission gearing and transfer power from the spur gear to the front and rear driveshafts. As a shared drivetrain component, this gearbox set is also used on the SR7 rallycross platform, reflecting common architecture across Team Associated's bash and off-road vehicle lines. The housings are molded from a durable composite engineered to contain gear mesh loads and resist cracking under the torque spikes and impacts typical of monster truck and rallycross driving. This set fits the Rival MT8 and SR7. It serves as a direct replacement for a cracked, stripped, or worn factory gearbox set, restoring secure gear containment and smooth power transfer through the drivetrain after a hard hit or extended use. Installation uses the existing internal gears, bearings, and driveshafts from the stock gearboxes, so no other drivetrain parts are required beyond the housing swap itself.
