Description
The Team Associated ASC25907 center gearbox set is the direct replacement center transmission housing for the RIVAL MT8 monster truck. The center gearbox sits in the middle of the chassis and is the hub of the four-wheel-drive system, carrying the slipper and spur gear assembly and splitting drive between the front and rear driveshafts.
These housings hold the bearings and shafts in alignment, which is what sets and holds correct gear mesh. Once a case is cracked, a bearing pocket is worn oval or the halves no longer clamp tightly, the gears begin to move under load. The result is drivetrain noise, uneven wear, stripped spur teeth and eventually a driveline that binds or skips under throttle.
Installing a fresh center gearbox restores proper bearing support and mesh, which protects the spur, pinion and driveshafts. The set uses the factory hole pattern so your existing internals and hardware transfer over during a rebuild with no modification. Fits the RIVAL MT8. Genuine Team Associated replacement part.
