Description
The Team Associated ASC25885 skid plate set is the direct replacement underbody protection for the RIVAL MT10 Factory Team monster truck. Skid plates mount beneath the front and rear gearbox areas and take the abuse from rocks, roots, curbs, jump faces and hard landings, keeping that impact off the gearbox cases and the leading edges of the chassis.
Because they are sacrificial parts, skid plates wear thin and get gouged with use, and once they are worn through the damage moves straight to far more expensive components. Fitting a fresh set restores full ground protection and also lets the truck slide over obstacles instead of catching on them, which helps the chassis skate across ruts and jump lips rather than hooking and rolling.
This is a factory replacement that uses the original mounting locations and hardware, so installation is a quick bench job with no modification. Keeping a spare set on hand is cheap insurance for anyone who runs their MT10 Factory Team on rough terrain. Genuine Team Associated replacement part.
