Description
This aluminum rear shock set fits the Team Associated Rival MT10 Classic and handles damping at the back of the truck, where traction under acceleration and stability on landings are decided. Rear shocks control how well the tires stay planted when the power goes down and how cleanly the truck settles after a jump.
The aluminum bodies are a meaningful upgrade over plastic-bodied shocks. Aluminum resists denting and deformation from rocks and hard landings, and it carries heat away from the shock oil more effectively, so damping holds steady deep into a run rather than going soft as the oil heats.
The shocks mount to the standard Rival MT10 Classic rear shock towers and suspension arms, so fitting them takes no modification and your existing hardware carries over. Fit them as a straight replacement for worn, bent, or leaking rear shocks, or as an upgrade over the stock units when you want more consistent rear traction and a truck that lands more predictably.
