Description
The differential case houses the internal diff gears and holds them in correct alignment inside the gearbox of the Team Associated Rival MT10 Classic. It also contains the differential lubricant, keeping it where it belongs and keeping dirt where it does not.
A cracked or worn diff case leaks lubricant and lets the internal gears move out of position, which causes rough or noisy differential action and accelerates wear on the gears themselves. Because the diff sits deep inside the gearbox, a small leak often goes unnoticed until the diff starts binding or the gears begin to strip.
Fitting a fresh case restores proper sealing and gear alignment, so the differential works smoothly and predictably again under power. This is a direct replacement for the stock Rival MT10 Classic differential case and accepts your existing internal gears and hardware during a rebuild. It is an inexpensive part to keep on the shelf, since replacing it is far cheaper than replacing a full set of chewed differential gears.
