Description
This pack contains ten M3 low profile locknuts. A locknut uses a deformed or nylon-insert thread section that grips the bolt, so the nut resists backing off under the constant vibration and impact loading an RC vehicle generates. That is the difference between hardware that stays where you put it and hardware that works loose halfway through a run.
The low profile design matters in tight spaces. A standard nut can foul on suspension arms, shock bodies, or bodyshell clearance, while the reduced height of these nuts keeps the fastener out of the way where packaging is tight, which is common around suspension pivots and steering components.
M3 is one of the most widely used thread sizes across Team Associated vehicles, so these make useful general-purpose hardware to keep in the pit box. Ten pieces per pack gives you enough to replace a full set rather than chasing down one nut at a time. Nuts stretch and lose their grip after repeated removal, so replace them periodically.
