Description
These 4-40 x 7/16 inch button head cap screws are standard fastening hardware used throughout Team Associated electric buggies and short course trucks. The button head profile presents a low, rounded top that clears surrounding components and resists snagging, while the hex socket gives you solid driver engagement for repeated removal during maintenance.
Screws are the most commonly lost and most commonly damaged parts on any race vehicle. Hex sockets round out from a worn driver, threads strip after many rebuild cycles, and hardware simply disappears into the carpet at the track. Running a fastener that is stripped or the wrong length risks the component it holds working loose mid-run.
Fitment covers the SC10, SC10B, SC10.3 Lucas Oil, and SC10.3 JRT short course trucks, the RC10T4.1 truck, the RC10B4.1 buggy, and the B44, B44.3, RC10B44.1, and RC10B44.2 4WD buggies. These are direct replacements for the same hardware supplied in those kits, so keeping a pack in the pit box means a lost screw never ends your race day.
