Description
The Team Associated ASC21910 aluminum wheel hexes are a machined upgrade over the standard hexes on the Reflex 14 Classic. Wheel hexes sit between the axle and the wheel and carry every bit of drive torque the motor produces, plus the side loads generated in hard cornering and landings, which makes them one of the highest stressed small parts on the car.
Moving from the stock hexes to aluminum gives you a part that resists rounding out and deforming under repeated abuse, so wheels stay tightly located on the axles and drive stays positive. A worn hex introduces play that shows up as a wheel that wobbles or a car that feels loose on corner exit.
These aluminum hexes are made from machined alloy and fit the Reflex14B Classic, installing in place of the factory parts with the stock axles and wheel nuts. No modification is needed. Fitting a full set of four is a low-cost durability upgrade that pays for itself for anyone running this platform hard.
