The Team Associated RC24 ZOOM Bumper Set includes the front and rear bumpers for the RC24 ZOOM Rally RTR, the first line of defense that absorbs impact energy during collisions, rollovers, and hard stops. Molded from tough, impact-absorbing composite plastic, these bumpers are designed to flex and take the hit so that the chassis, suspension arms, and driveline components behind them are shielded from more serious damage. As a direct OEM replacement, the set mounts using the original screws and mounting points on the ZOOM's chassis, requiring no other modification for a proper fit. Swapping in a new bumper set is recommended after a bumper has cracked, split, or broken away from repeated crashes, since a compromised bumper leaves the chassis and internal components more exposed to future impacts. This is a repair part rather than a performance upgrade, meant to restore the vehicle's factory-level crash protection. Given how frequently bumpers take the brunt of impacts during bashing or racing, keeping a spare set on hand is an easy way to keep the ZOOM protected and ready to run without lengthy downtime between sessions.
