Description
The Team Associated ASC21826 SR27 Spring Set supplies replacement suspension springs for the SR27 platform. Springs control how the chassis transfers weight under acceleration, braking, and cornering, making them one of the most direct tuning tools on the car, and they also lose some of their original rate after long periods of compression and running.
This set is made for the SR27 chassis and fits the shock and suspension assemblies on that platform, so the springs locate on the standard perches without modification. Replacing a set that has taken a season of running restores the suspension response the car was set up around, and having spares available makes it easier to experiment with the chassis balance between practice sessions.
As a direct replacement for the springs fitted to the SR27, these install using the existing shock hardware and require no changes elsewhere on the vehicle. The set is a straightforward maintenance item as well as a useful part of a setup toolkit for anyone racing the platform.
