The Team Associated ASC21822 SR27 Tire Set provides replacement 11mm tires in a 20 shore compound for the SR27 platform. Tires are the only contact between the car and the track, and they wear continuously with running, so a fresh set is the most effective way to restore lost grip and consistency to a well-used vehicle.
The 20 shore rating indicates a softer rubber compound, and the 11mm width matches the wider wheels used on the SR27 chassis, so these tires fit the standard SR27 wheels with no modification. Swapping compounds and widths is one of the primary tuning options available on this platform for adapting to different surfaces.
This set is a direct replacement for the tires originally supplied with the SR27 and mounts to the existing wheels using standard tire fitting methods. Carrying spare sets in more than one compound makes it straightforward to react when track conditions change between practice and racing.
