Description
The Team Associated ASC21820 SR27 12-Spoke Wheel and Tire Set packages wheels and tires together for the SR27 platform, providing a full set of rolling stock ready to fit to the car. Tires wear steadily with track time and lose the grip they had when new, so replacing a worn set is one of the most direct ways to recover the handling and traction a car had out of the box.
This set uses the 12-spoke wheel design and is sized for the SR27 chassis, fitting the standard axles and wheel hexes on that platform without modification. Running a matched set at all four corners keeps grip levels even front to rear, which is hard to maintain once tires have worn unevenly.
As a direct replacement for the wheels and tires supplied with the SR27, this set installs using the original wheel hardware and requires no other changes to the car. A spare set makes it easy to keep fresh rubber ready for racing while running older tires in practice.
