Description
The Team Associated ASC21815 SR27 Turbine Wheel and Tire Set combines mounted wheels and tires in a single package for the SR27 platform, giving a complete set of rolling stock ready to bolt onto the car. Tires and wheels are consumable items on any radio control vehicle, wearing down with track time and picking up damage from curbs and debris, so a fresh set restores grip that a worn set can no longer deliver.
This set uses the turbine wheel design and is sized for the SR27 chassis, mounting on the standard SR27 axles and hexes without modification. Running a matched set on all four corners keeps the handling balanced front to rear, which is difficult to achieve when mixing new and worn rubber.
As a direct replacement for the wheels and tires supplied with the SR27, this set installs with the original wheel hardware and requires no changes elsewhere on the car. Keeping a spare set on hand makes it simple to swap between practice and race running.
