The Team Associated ASC21814 SR27 Datsun 240Z Body Set provides a complete replacement shell for the SR27 platform, restoring a car whose original body has been cracked, torn, or worn out from regular running. The body is the part of the car that takes the brunt of every impact with a wall, a curb, or another competitor, so having a fresh shell on hand keeps a car looking and running its best.
This set is made specifically for the SR27 chassis and drops onto the existing body posts and mounting locations, so no modification of the chassis is needed to fit it. Replacing a damaged shell also restores the aerodynamic shape the car was designed around, which a crumpled or patched body can no longer provide.
Supplied as a direct replacement for the body originally fitted to the SR27, this set installs using the standard mounting hardware already on the car. It is an easy way to refresh a well-used vehicle or to keep a spare ready in the pit box for race day.
