Description
The Team Associated ASC21810 body mount set supplies the body mounting components for the SR27. The body mounts locate the shell on the chassis and hold it at the correct height and position, which matters both for the way the car looks and for the way air passes over and around it. They also take the first hit in a rollover, absorbing impact that would otherwise be transferred into the chassis or the shell itself.
This set fits the SR27 and installs at the standard body mounting points using the kit hardware, making it a direct replacement for the mounts supplied in the kit.
Body mounts are a common breakage, and a snapped or bent mount lets the shell sit crooked or work loose during a run. Replacing them restores the intended fit. When mounting a new shell, mark and drill the body carefully so the mounts pass through cleanly and the shell sits level on the chassis without being pulled out of shape.
