Description
The Team Associated ASC21809 wheel nut set supplies the wheel nuts that retain the wheels on the front and rear axles of the SR27. On a small, high-revving car the wheel nuts are what stand between a mounted tire and a wheel coming loose mid-run, so clean threads and a secure fit against the wheel face matter more than the low price of the part suggests.
This set fits the SR27 and threads onto the standard axles using the existing hardware, making it a direct replacement for the nuts supplied in the kit.
Wheel nuts are easily lost during a tire change and are easily damaged: threads pick up dirt from the track, and the drive flats round off if the wrong size wrench is used. A rounded or cross-threaded nut is difficult to remove at the track and can cost you a run. Keeping a spare set on hand makes tire changes between heats far less stressful. Tighten them firmly without crushing the wheel hub.
