Description
The Team Associated ASC21806 set supplies the rear shock, the shock mount and the T-bar for the SR27. Together these parts control how the rear of a pan car works: the T-bar connects the motor pod to the chassis and allows it to flex and roll, while the shock and its mount damp that movement and control how quickly the pod settles after a bump or a change of direction.
This set fits the SR27 and installs using the standard mounting points and kit hardware, making it a direct replacement for the parts supplied in the kit.
Because the T-bar flexes on every corner, it is a fatigue part and will eventually take a permanent set or crack, which quietly changes rear grip and side-to-side balance in ways that are easy to blame on tires or track conditions. Fitting fresh components restores the car's original rear response. Check that the T-bar sits flat and that the pod moves freely without binding once assembly is complete.
