Description
The Team Associated ASC21805 steering block set contains the front steering blocks for the SR27. The steering blocks carry the front axles and wheels and pivot on the kingpins, translating input from the steering linkage into wheel angle. Because they set the geometry the front wheels move through, their condition has a direct effect on how precise and consistent the steering feels.
This set fits the SR27 and installs on the standard front suspension using the kit kingpins, springs and hardware, making it a direct replacement for the blocks supplied in the kit.
Steering blocks are among the most commonly damaged parts on any car, since a front corner impact loads them directly. Worn kingpin bores also introduce slop that shows up as vague or inconsistent steering long before the part actually breaks. Replacing worn or cracked blocks restores the intended geometry and tightens the steering response, and keeping a spare set in the pit box means a broken front corner does not cost you the rest of the day.
