Description
The Team Associated ASC21801 front suspension set supplies the narrow-width front suspension components for the SR27. Front track width is one of the main handling adjustments available on a pan car chassis: a narrower front end generally makes the car turn in more sharply and react more quickly to steering input, which suits tight, technical layouts and higher grip surfaces.
This set fits the SR27 and mounts to the standard front end of the chassis using the kit hardware, so no modification is required. It works as a direct replacement for the narrow front suspension parts supplied in the kit, and as a tuning option for cars currently set up with the wide front suspension.
Front suspension parts sit at the leading edge of the car and take the brunt of head-on impacts, so keeping a spare set in the pit box is worthwhile for race day. Check the parts for cracks and free movement after a hard hit, and rebuild with the SR27 manual to hand.
