Description
The Team Associated ASC21681 M2x3mm Set Screws are the small grub screws that lock rotating components onto shafts throughout an RC drivetrain and steering system. A set screw seats against a flat or into a machined recess so a pinion gear, collar or hub cannot spin or creep along its shaft under power. Because they carry that load across a tiny contact patch, they are consumables rather than permanent hardware.
These screws are M2 diameter, 3mm long, and use a 1.3mm hex drive, and they are listed for the Team Associated TC28 chassis. They are a direct replacement for the set screws supplied with the car, so thread pitch, length and driver size all match what the manual calls for and no substitutions are needed at the bench.
The package contains 10 pieces. Set screw hex sockets round out quickly once a driver starts to slip, and a rounded screw on a pinion gear is a run ending problem. Having a full pack in the pit box means you replace a marginal screw before it strips rather than after.
