Description
This is the Team Associated ASC21667 M2 FHCS Hardware Set, a 30-piece assortment of M2 flat head cap screws. Flat head screws use a tapered countersunk head that pulls down flush into a matching chamfered hole, giving a smooth surface with no protruding head. This makes them the correct fastener for chassis plates, shock towers, and any location where a raised screw head would interfere with a mating part.
This hardware set fits the RC28 Team and RC28R Team platforms. The screws match the thread sizes used throughout these chassis, so they are direct replacements for the flat head hardware supplied in the original kit and thread into the existing holes without modification.
Fasteners wear out with use. Driver sockets round out after repeated rebuilds, threads gall, and small screws are easily lost during trackside work. Having a 30-piece set in your pit box means you can replace a damaged screw immediately instead of running a compromised fastener, and gives you enough fresh hardware to complete a full chassis rebuild between race weekends.
