This is the Team Associated ASC21660 RC28R Wheel Set, a replacement set of wheels for your 1/28 scale vehicle. The wheels carry the tires and transfer drive from the axles to the ground, so a true, undamaged wheel is essential for balanced rotation, consistent traction, and predictable handling through corners.
This wheel set is compatible with the RC28 Team Kit and the RC28 Team platform. Built to the original factory specification, it is a direct replacement for the wheels supplied with the kit and mounts to the stock axles and hexes with no modification needed to your drivetrain or suspension components.
Wheels are among the most frequently damaged parts on a small-scale car, taking hits from curbs, track pipes, and other racers. A cracked or bent wheel introduces vibration and uneven grip that is hard to diagnose. Keeping a spare set means you can mount a second set of tires for different surface conditions and swap them between runs rather than remounting rubber trackside.
