Description
These ballstud washers measure 3.8 x 2.0 x 0.5mm and are used as shims beneath the ballstuds on the RC28R 1/28 scale pan car. Adding or removing washers under a ballstud changes the effective height of that link mounting point, which in turn alters the geometry of the linkage attached to it.
This makes ballstud washers a setup tool as much as a hardware item. On a pan car, shimming ballstuds is how roll center, camber link angle, and steering link height are adjusted, and the 0.5mm thickness provides a larger step than thinner washers for making more substantial geometry changes in a single move.
This package contains ten washers. They are direct replacements for the ballstud washers used in the RC28 Team Kit and install between the ballstud and its mounting surface. Fits the RC28 Team Kit. Refer to the kit manual for the baseline washer count at each ballstud location before making setup changes.
