Description
These 3.5mm M2 threaded pivot balls are hardware components used in the suspension of the RC28R 1/28 scale pan car. Pivot balls provide the spherical bearing surface that the suspension arms rotate on, and the M2 thread allows each ball to be threaded into the pivot block or arm so its position can be set precisely during assembly.
Because the arms pivot directly on these balls, their surface condition determines how freely the suspension moves. Worn pivot balls develop play that translates into inconsistent camber and steering behavior, while balls threaded in too far bind the arms and restrict suspension travel.
This package contains ten pivot balls. They are direct replacements for the pivot balls used in the RC28 Team Kit and install into the existing threaded locations. Fits the RC28 Team Kit. Refer to the kit manual for correct installation depth so the arms move freely without slop.
