Description
The RC28R Gear Differential Rebuild Kit contains the internal components needed to service the gear differential on the RC28R 1/28 scale pan car. A gear diff relies on its internal gears and seals running in silicone fluid, and over time those parts wear and the seals allow fluid to escape, changing how the diff behaves on track.
Rebuilding restores the differential to consistent operation rather than replacing the complete assembly, which is the more economical approach for routine maintenance. A rebuild is also the point at which diff fluid weight can be changed, making it part of normal tuning as well as upkeep.
This kit services the gear differential supplied in the RC28 Team Kit and used in the RC28R Gear Differential Set. Fits the RC28 Team Kit. Refer to the kit manual for disassembly, correct fluid fill level, and reassembly so the diff seals properly and turns smoothly through its range.
