Description
The RC28R Spur Gear And Differential Cover Set includes the spur gear and differential cover for the RC28R 1/28 scale pan car. The spur gear meshes with the motor pinion to transfer drive into the differential, setting the internal gear ratio alongside the pinion, while the differential cover encloses the diff assembly.
Spur gears are a routine wear item. Teeth strip when gear mesh is set incorrectly, when debris finds its way into the drivetrain, or after a hard impact stops the drivetrain suddenly, and a damaged spur ends a run immediately. Keeping a spare on hand is standard practice for anyone racing regularly.
These are direct replacements for the spur gear and differential cover supplied in the RC28 Team Kit and install onto the existing differential using the original hardware. Fits the RC28 Team Kit. Refer to the kit manual for correct gear mesh adjustment after installation.
