Description
The RC28R Center Shock Set provides the center shock assembly for the RC28R 1/28 scale pan car. On a pan car chassis the center shock controls movement of the rear pod relative to the chassis, damping the pod as it rotates and determining how quickly weight transfers to the rear tires under acceleration.
This makes the center shock one of the main tuning tools on the car. Oil weight, spring choice, and preload set through this assembly change how the car reacts on corner entry and how much forward bite it generates on exit, so a shock in good condition with consistent damping matters for repeatable handling.
This set is a direct replacement for the center shock supplied in the RC28 Team Kit and mounts to the original chassis and pod locations. Fits the RC28 Team Kit. Refer to the kit manual for assembly, bleeding, and mounting, and for the baseline oil and spring settings.
