Description
The RC28R Turnbuckle And Damper Tube Set includes the turnbuckles and damper tubes used on the RC28R 1/28 scale pan car. The turnbuckles form the adjustable links in the steering and suspension, allowing length to be changed without full disassembly so that toe and link geometry can be set precisely.
The damper tubes work with the rear pod, providing damping for pod movement so the rear of the car settles predictably rather than oscillating after bumps and on corner entry. Both items are consumable in practice, as turnbuckles bend in crashes and damper tubes wear with use, making this a practical set to keep in the pit box.
These are direct replacements for the turnbuckles and damper tubes supplied in the RC28 Team Kit, installing with the original ball ends and pod hardware. Fits the RC28 Team Kit. Refer to the kit manual for correct turnbuckle lengths and damper tube placement when setting up the car.
