Description
The RC28R Side Link And Pivot Ball Insert Set supplies the side links and pivot ball inserts that control rear pod movement on the RC28R 1/28 scale pan car. The side links connect the rear pod to the chassis and limit how far the pod can travel, while the pivot ball inserts seat the balls those links run on.
On a pan car the side links are a primary handling adjustment, since they set how much the rear pod is allowed to move and therefore how the rear of the car loads up under power and through corners. Worn inserts allow the links to develop play, which makes that movement inconsistent from run to run.
This set is a direct replacement for the side links and pivot ball inserts supplied in the RC28 Team Kit and installs with the original pod and chassis hardware. Fits the RC28 Team Kit. Refer to the kit manual for link installation and correct insert seating so the pod moves without binding.
