Description
The RC28R Kingpin And Arm Pivot Ball Set provides the kingpins and arm pivot balls used throughout the front suspension of the RC28R 1/28 scale pan car. The kingpins pass through the steering blocks to join the upper and lower arms, forming the axis the steering block rotates around, while the pivot balls locate the inner arm ends in the chassis pivot blocks.
These small components determine how freely the front suspension moves. Wear at the kingpins or pivot balls introduces play that shows up as inconsistent steering and camber change under load, and both parts are easily bent or lost during a crash or a routine teardown.
This set is a direct replacement for the kingpins and arm pivot balls supplied in the RC28 Team Kit. Fits the RC28 Team Kit. Refer to the kit manual for correct placement of each size and for setting pivot ball preload so the arms move freely without slop.
