Description
The RC28R Servo Mount Set contains the mounting components that locate the steering servo on the chassis of the RC28R 1/28 scale pan car. The mounts hold the servo square and rigid so that steering input transfers cleanly through the servo horn and steering links to the front wheels.
A servo that shifts under load introduces slop into the steering system, producing vague response and inconsistent turn-in from corner to corner. Solid servo mounting is therefore one of the simpler ways to keep steering feel repeatable, and the mounts themselves can be damaged in a hard front-end impact.
This set is a direct replacement for the servo mounts supplied in the RC28 Team Kit and installs using the original chassis screws and servo hardware. Fits the RC28 Team Kit. Refer to the kit manual for correct mount position on the chassis plate and for servo installation, as mount placement affects steering link geometry.
