Description
The RC28R Upper And Lower Pod Plate Set includes the upper and lower plates that sandwich the rear pod assembly on the RC28R 1/28 scale pan car. These plates tie the pod components together and set the stiffness of the rear end, which in turn influences how much the chassis flexes and how the car reacts over bumps and through corner exits.
Both plates are supplied together as a matched set, so a damaged plate can be replaced without sourcing parts separately. The lower plate in particular sits close to the track surface and takes abuse from landings and contact, while the upper plate carries the side link and pivot ball mounting points.
This is a direct replacement for the pod plates supplied in the RC28 Team Kit, using the original screws and pod hardware. Fits the RC28 Team Kit. Refer to the kit manual when reassembling the pod to ensure the plates are oriented correctly and the pod pivots freely.
