Description
The RC28R Rear Pod And Axle Carrier Set contains the rear pod components and the axle carriers that support the rear axle on the RC28R 1/28 scale pan car. On a pan car the rear pod carries the motor, transmission, and rear axle as a single pivoting assembly, and the axle carriers hold the axle bearings in place at each end.
Because the pod controls how the rear of the car moves relative to the chassis, the condition of these parts directly affects rear grip and consistency. The axle carriers also take load every time the car lands from a jump or contacts a barrier, making them a routine replacement item for racers who run frequently.
This set is a direct replacement for the rear pod and axle carrier parts supplied in the RC28 Team Kit and installs using the original hardware, side links, and pivot balls. Fits the RC28 Team Kit. Consult the kit manual for pod assembly order and correct axle carrier orientation.
