Description
The RC28R Chassis Plate is the structural foundation of the RC28R 1/28 scale pan car, providing the main platform that every other component mounts to. The chassis plate locates the front suspension, center bulkhead, servo mounts, battery holder, and rear pod assembly, setting the geometry and flex characteristics that determine how the car puts power down and rotates through corners.
This is a direct replacement for the chassis plate supplied in the RC28 Team Kit, so no modification or trimming is required during installation. Because the chassis plate sits at the lowest point of the car and absorbs impacts from crashes, curbs, and track debris, it is one of the more common wear items on a pan car. Keeping a spare on hand means a bent or cracked plate does not end a race day.
Fits the RC28 Team Kit. Transfer the electronics, suspension, and rear pod from the original chassis using the existing hardware, and refer to the kit manual for the correct build sequence and screw placement.
