Description
The ASC21580 Reflex 14R Bushing Set supplies replacement bushings for the Reflex 14R and Reflex 14R Hoonitruck. Bushings support the rotating shafts through the drivetrain and wheel hubs, letting them spin freely while holding them located in the chassis and bulkheads.
As bushings wear, the clearance around the shafts opens up and the drivetrain develops play. That shows up as increased friction and drag, extra noise, and shafts that no longer run true, which costs efficiency and puts additional load on the gears and driveshafts around them. Dirt and grit that work into a bushing accelerate the process considerably.
This set is a direct replacement for the original bushings, matching factory dimensions so they fit the existing locations without modification to the car. Fitting fresh bushings restores smooth, free rotation through the drivetrain and helps protect the more expensive parts they support. It is worth refreshing them as part of a full rebuild rather than waiting for a failure to force the issue.
