Description
The ASC21579 Reflex 14R Hinge Pin Set supplies replacement suspension hinge pins for the Reflex 14R and Reflex 14R Hoonitruck. Hinge pins are the axles the suspension arms pivot on, locating each arm to the chassis and bulkheads and setting the geometry the suspension works through.
These pins carry every impact load the suspension takes, and they wear and bend over time. A bent hinge pin binds the arm so it no longer moves freely through its travel, and a worn one lets the arm develop play, both of which change how the car handles in ways that are difficult to diagnose from the driver's stand. Because the pins are hidden inside the arms, the damage is easy to overlook during a normal inspection.
This set is a direct replacement for the original pins, matching factory dimensions so the arms and mounts go back together without modification. Fresh pins restore free, consistent suspension movement and correct geometry, and a spare set is inexpensive insurance against a hard hit.
