Description
The ASC21577 Reflex 14R Outdrives, Pivot Balls, and Center Driveshaft set covers key drivetrain and suspension components for the Reflex 14R, Reflex 14R Hoonitruck, and Reflex 14MT Monster Truck.
The outdrives transfer power from the differential out to the driveshafts, and the center driveshaft carries drive between the front and rear of the car. Both live under constant torque load, and worn outdrive cups or a rounded driveshaft end introduce slop into the drivetrain that shows up as clicking under acceleration and, eventually, a loss of drive altogether. The pivot balls locate the suspension and steering, and once they wear the resulting play makes the steering feel loose and imprecise.
These are direct replacements for the original components, using factory dimensions so they install in the existing locations without modification. Refreshing worn drivetrain and pivot parts restores crisp power delivery and precise steering feel, and keeping this set on the shelf turns a worn outdrive into a quick bench repair.
