Description
The ASC21549 Narrow Wheels are direct replacement wheels for Team Associated's 1/14-scale off-road platforms, fitting the Reflex 14B, Reflex 14T, Reflex 14B Ongaro, and Reflex 14B Buggy. They use the factory hex and mounting dimensions, so they bolt straight on with no adapters or modification.
Wheels take a beating on a small-scale off-road car. Curbs, pipes, and hard landings crack rims and knock them out of round, and a bent or split wheel puts the tire out of true, which shows up as vibration and inconsistent steering feel long before the wheel actually fails.
The narrow profile matches the tire sizing these platforms are designed around, keeping the contact patch and steering response the way the car was engineered to handle. These are also the base you need when gluing up a fresh set of narrow tires, so many drivers buy a set alongside spare rubber and keep a mounted backup pair ready to swap in between runs.
