Description
The ASC21545 Reflex 14B/14T Wing is a direct replacement rear wing for Team Associated's 1/14-scale platforms, fitting the Reflex 14B, Reflex 14T, Reflex 14B Ongaro, and Reflex 14B Buggy. The wing bolts to the standard mounting location, so no modification is needed to install it.
A rear wing is one of the hardest-working parts on a small-scale off-road car. It generates downforce over the rear tires to keep the chassis planted under acceleration, stabilizes the car through the air on jumps, and helps it land flat rather than nose-heavy or tail-heavy. A wing that has been cracked at the mounting tabs or bent out of shape stops doing that job and makes the car feel unpredictable.
Replacing a damaged wing restores the handling balance the car left the factory with. It is also worth stocking a spare in the pit box, since wings tend to be the first casualty of a hard landing or a rollover.
