E-clips are the retainers that lock the piston onto the shock shaft. They are among the smallest parts in the car and among the easiest to lose on the workbench, yet without one properly seated the piston can shift on the shaft and your damping goes away entirely. Any shock rebuild depends on having good ones ready.
These Team Associated Shock Piston E-clips, part number 21538, are the factory retainers sized for the stock shock shafts and pistons. Clips can deform when they are pried off during disassembly, and a clip that has been sprung open no longer grips reliably, so fitting fresh ones during a rebuild is standard practice rather than an optional step.
They fit the Reflex 14B, Reflex 14T, Reflex 14MT Monster Truck, Reflex 14B Ongaro, and Reflex 14B Buggy. As genuine Team Associated replacements they seat into the stock shaft grooves with no modification required.
