Description
Shock caps seal the top of the shock body and hold the oil under pressure, while the bottom caps retain the seal assembly the shaft passes through. Spring collars sit on the body and set spring preload, which is how you adjust ride height and corner balance. Together these pieces determine whether a shock holds its oil and holds your setup.
This Team Associated package, part number 21536, includes four shock caps, four bottom shock caps, and four spring collars, twelve pieces covering all four shocks on the car. Threads and sealing surfaces wear over repeated rebuilds, and a cap that no longer seals cleanly will weep oil no matter how new the o-rings are.
These fit the Reflex 14B, Reflex 14T, Reflex 14MT Monster Truck, Reflex 14B Ongaro, and Reflex 14B Buggy. As genuine Team Associated direct replacements they thread onto the stock shock bodies with no modification. A practical package for anyone rebuilding a full set of shocks or replacing pieces damaged in a crash.
